When: Saturday, March 14, 2015, 12:00 PM to 4:00pm
Where: Channel Austin, 1143 Northwestern Avenue, Austin, TX
When you attend this event you will be exempt from any dues. You can appear on our TV show “Off The Cuff” that will be aired on Channel Austin, or just observe. Here is what happens at each filming:
12:00 to 1:30pm:
Studio setup, camera angles, lighting, sound-checks, etc. Please come at 12:00 only if you want to volunteer regularly.
1:30pm to 3:45pm
If you just want to appear on Off The Cuff or observe, please arrive between 1:30 and 3:00pm. If you arrive any later we can’t be sure you can appear on the show. You don’t need anything in particular to participate, but you do need to wear plain colors and avoid stripes or patterns.
Filming is on a first come, first served basis and you will need to wait in the meeting room or sitting areas until your turn. Up to three people at a time can observe. One of our volunteer crew will be there to guide you.
IMPORTANT: If you want to be interviewed you will need to sign a release. A paper copy will be supplied when you attend or please download a PDF one at www.divisionx.com/TalentRelease.pdf and complete it and bring it with you. The Company or Organization is “Off The Cuff” and so is the Title so you can fill in the blanks accordingly or ask me for advice.
Want to do your own TV show? If you regularly volunteer for these shows you are much more likely to find volunteers among us to help with your show.
Please keep in mind this is an all volunteer show and we are not getting paid for your appearance so if you are not prepared to wait it is not a good idea to show up.
