Serial entrepreneur Jean Anne Booth will share her top suggestions for entrepreneurial success, covering everything from company formation, team recruitment, guerrilla marketing, beta customer recruitment, cost-effective SEO, trade show demos that work, and effective media management for startups. She’ll share stories of what’s worked and what hasn’t worked at her startups. Jean Anne’s first startup failed a year after she joined, although the investors saw a 2.5x return on the sale of patents. She was a founder of her second startup, which sold to Apple in 2010; she had left before that acquisition. She was the originating founder of her third startup, which was one of the top VC-backed M&As of 2009 when it sold to Texas Instruments. She started her fourth startup last summer, building wearable assistance devices for seniors to help them live independently, longer. Her companies have garnered countless innovation awards at shows and through media outlets, and a Frost & Sullivan Global Best Practices award for outstanding entrepreneurial strategy in the world Microcontrollers market.
