Colin Pope is editor of the Austin Business Journal and the host of the television show “Straight From The Top” on Time Warner Cable’s YNN. As editor, he steers the publication’s content and newsroom to produce world-class news and business intelligence that is consumed mostly by C-suite executives, civic and political leader who demand very much.
Colin is a founding member of the annual RISE event, a founding board member of the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce, donates time to UT’s School of Journalism, ACC and the United Way, plus he is a regular contributor to Fox News and YNN. Colin’s business experience outside journalism includes helping to start NetSpend Corp. in 2000, a company that has a market cap of $1.1 billion today.
